A paint protection film (PPF) is an actual film that is installed over the vehicle surfaces. The primary objective of PPF is to protect the paint from rock chips, though it's not bullet proof. We are happy to recommend an installer if you're looking for PPF. A ceramic coating is a paint protector from UV rays, contamination, provides hydrophobic properties and will provide additional gloss to the paint, but will NOT protect you from rock chips.
We are a one car at a time outfit so we can give your car all the attention it needs. We never rush to move onto the next job, which helps ensure you get the attention to detail you deserve. Each job is different and ranges anywhere from a few hours to about a full day if we're doing a ceramic coating.
We prefer you drop it off at one of our two locations in Bloomington/Normal, but if needed, we are happy to pick it up. Additionally, we can drop you off if you need a ride back.
Yes, it is recommended to make an appointment for detailing services to ensure availability and to allow us to provide the best service possible. You'll need to call, text or email us to get something scheduled as we're primarily weekend based but make exceptions when necessary.
Detailing goes beyond a typical wash; it involves meticulous cleaning of either interior or exterior surfaces, including restoration and protection treatments where applicable.
Yes, but with an exception. There will be times where there are deep defects that can't be removed without compromising the paint or clearcoat, but we do as much as we can to bring back as much gloss and shine as possible. We can do a test spot to show you what to expect before signing up for any services.
If you are going to choose one of our professional coatings and we've never serviced your vehicle before, we ask that you put a $300 deposit down to cover the cost of the materials. This is non-refundable and can be made via Venmo, Apple Pay, or PayPal. This deposit will offset the final cost of the ceramic coating.
Yes, we just made a lame attempt at quoting Shakespeare, but the question still remains. There are numerous reasons as to why one should ceramic coat their vehicle.
One of the main reasons is ease of use. a ceramic coated vehicle stays cleaner longer. In addition, maintenance washes are a breeze. Cleaning and drying your vehicle’s paint is far easier, compared to a vehicle that is not ceramic coated.
Another reason to ceramic coat your vehicle is value. Investing in the appearance of your paint helps with resale and helps extend the life of your clear coat. Permanent paint protection from C6 Ceramics provides years of hydrophobic assurance.
Lastly, a ceramic coated vehicle just looks better! C6 Ceramics has designed their coatings to provide exceptional gloss, slickness, and depth. You can truly tell a difference!
